Signage, Nameplates, Equipment Labels, WayfindingLYSHIRE Black White Engraving Sheet, model LYS-7028, is a high-contrast two-color engraving material featuring a thin gloss black face over a solid white core. Precision laser engraving removes the black surface layer to expose clean white letters, numbers, symbols and graphics. Black and white is one of the most widely used international color combinations for professional identification, staff badges, control panels, exhibit labels and commercial signage.
The sheet uses a thin black face layer rather than a thick black board. Beneath the colored surface is a solid white plastic core and backing. Engraving through the black face reveals the contrasting white core, producing permanent information without printing, paint or applied vinyl lettering.
Its neutral black-and-white appearance is suitable for industrial, scientific, commercial, institutional and decorative applications. The high contrast supports clear recognition of small text, serial numbers, function labels and detailed graphics.
Black White Engraving Sheet can be fabricated into employee name badges, conference badges, visitor identification, hotel staff name tags, retail personnel badges and professional title plates. The neutral color combination coordinates easily with corporate uniforms and different brand environments.
Finished badges can be produced with rounded corners and fitted with magnetic or other fastening systems according to the customer’s design.
The material can be used for laboratory instrument panels, machine function labels, switch identification, operating instructions, measurement scales and equipment control interfaces. White engraved information remains part of the sheet construction and is not dependent on surface-applied lettering.
Small labels and line graphics can be created for knobs, buttons, sample ports and control functions. Processing settings should be adjusted to remove only the thin black face and expose the white core.
The understated black-and-white finish is suitable for museum exhibit labels, gallery interpretation panels, collection identification, showroom product information and retail display descriptions. It helps present information clearly without distracting from the displayed object.
The sheet can be cut into flat labels, angled display cards and custom-shaped interpretation panels for permanent or replaceable exhibition systems.
LYS-7028 is designed for precision laser engraving and cutting. It can also be cut, drilled, sawn and fabricated into nameplates, badges, labels, panels and custom signage components. Suitable processing methods should be selected according to the material option, sheet thickness and finished-product requirements.
A preliminary engraving test is recommended before volume production. Correct settings produce sharp white characters while preserving the surrounding gloss black surface.
