Clear Black Acrylic Reverse Engraving Sheet
LYS-7132 is engraved in mirror image from the coated back. The ultra-thin black rear layer is removed while the full clear acrylic face remains flat, giving fabricators a clean protected-front result for equipment interface panels and control legends.

How Reverse Engraving Works
Prepare the artwork as a mirror image and engrave the black coating from the rear. The laser removes only the coating in the marked areas, exposing clear acrylic. From the front, the information reads normally through a continuous, unengraved acrylic surface. Engraved areas can remain transparent or receive a separately reviewed backfill.
CO2 Laser Fabrication
LYS-7132 is configured around CO2 laser reverse engraving. The sheet is placed coated-side up, artwork is mirrored, and parameters are adjusted to clear the rear coating without unnecessarily cutting into the acrylic body. Test the selected thickness, optics, speed, power and backfill system before volume production.
