Signs, Labels, NameplatesLaserable Plastic Sheet is a matte red face and green core two-color engraving material developed for laser engraving, rotary engraving and CNC processing. Engraving through the thin red surface exposes the solid green core, producing permanent contrasting text, symbols, borders and identification graphics.
Manufactured from selected ABS, PMMA or acrylic materials, this sheet is suitable for professional signage, industrial labels, network infrastructure identification, marine facility tags, archive markers, equipment nameplates and custom OEM applications.
The material consists of an extremely thin matte red face layer over a solid green core. Laser or mechanical engraving removes only the surface cap and reveals the green material underneath. The finished information is engraved into the sheet rather than printed with ink or applied as vinyl.
Its matte surface helps reduce glare, while the contrasting layered construction supports detailed lettering, icons, numbering, borders and line graphics. It can be fabricated into both compact equipment tags and larger custom signs.
Laserable plastic sheets can be used for server racks, network cabinets, core switches, cable-management systems, data-center rows, patch panels and telecommunications infrastructure. Permanent engraved identification helps technicians locate equipment and maintain consistent labeling across large facilities.
Custom rack numbers, row identifiers, port groups, department names, network symbols and asset information can be produced for data-center operators, system integrators and equipment manufacturers.
Outdoor-grade engraving plastic can be used for marina utility points, dock identification, water valves, electrical pedestals, pump stations, boat-storage areas and harbor maintenance equipment. Engraved text and symbols provide durable identification without relying on surface printing.
UV-resistant and weather-resistant configurations are available for applications exposed to sunlight, moisture and changing weather conditions. Buyers should confirm the expected exposure, mounting method and service environment before ordering.
This material is suitable for archive shelving, library collections, museum-storage areas, document rooms, university records and reusable inventory markers. Section numbers, collection names, classification information and directional symbols can be engraved for organized storage systems.
Optional adhesive backing, mounting holes and custom-cut shapes are available for installation on shelving, cabinets, archive boxes and mobile storage systems.
Laserable Plastic Sheet supports laser engraving, rotary engraving and CNC machining. Depending on the selected material and thickness, it can be engraved, cut, routed, drilled and shaped into custom labels, nameplates, badges, signs and fabricated identification components.
The layered sheet construction supports repeatable engraving contrast for prototypes, customized batches and volume production. Processing settings should be tested according to the material, thickness, equipment power and required engraving depth.

Buyers should provide the installation environment, exposure conditions, cleaning method, chemical contact and expected service life so that an appropriate material construction can be recommended.
Lyshire supplies engraving-material distributors, sign manufacturers, laser-processing companies, industrial-label producers, system integrators and OEM buyers. Custom thicknesses, sheet sizes, adhesive backing, cutting, packaging and project-specific configurations can be discussed.
Please provide the required thickness, sheet size, quantity, processing method, application environment and performance requirements when requesting a quotation.
Q: What color appears after engraving?
A: Engraving removes the thin matte red face layer and exposes the solid green core, producing contrasting green text and graphics.
Q: Is it suitable for laser and rotary engraving?
A: Yes. It supports laser engraving, rotary engraving and CNC processing. Settings should be tested according to the selected material and thickness.
Q: Can it be used for outdoor and marine applications?
A: UV-resistant and weather-resistant outdoor-grade options are available. The correct grade should be selected according to exposure and installation conditions.
Q: Is adhesive backing available?
A: Yes. Adhesive backing is optional for installation on cabinets, equipment, shelving and other suitable flat surfaces.
Q: What regular thicknesses are available?
A: Regular thicknesses include 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.3, 1.5 and 3.0mm. Thicknesses above 3.0mm can be evaluated for custom production.
Q: Can you provide samples and OEM production?
A: Sample availability, MOQ, lead time, OEM requirements and bulk pricing are confirmed according to the selected specification and current production arrangement.
