Yellow Second-Surface Acrylic for Menu Displays (LYS-7150) is mirror engraved from its yellow-coated back. Removing only the ultra-thin rear coating creates transparent menu information while the clear acrylic front remains smooth.
Viewed through the transparent acrylic body, the hairline rear coating gives the sheet an even yellow appearance. It is not a yellow core or a third layer.
Place the sheet yellow-coated side up and engrave mirror-reversed artwork from the rear. Parameters should remove the coating cleanly without unnecessarily cutting into the clear acrylic body.
Confirm thickness, optics, speed, power, mounting-backing color and artwork on a physical sample before volume production.
LYSHIRE supplies full sheets, reviewed cut blanks and B2B samples. Send the required size, thickness, mirrored artwork, backing color and projected quantity for configuration review and quotation.
Yellow is an ultra-thin coating on the back of clear acrylic. Dark information shown in the application image comes from the mounting backing visible through transparent rear-engraved openings. Yellow is an appearance choice and does not automatically indicate a safety, warning or regulatory function.
